Each episode will tell a story how a Leader is utilising 3D printing and changing our world. The series will focus on 6 segments: medicine, sport, drones, robotics, disability and education.
• Our Medicine Episode, will feature Prof Ralph Mobbs, a leading spinal neurosurgeon, who 3D prints surgical guides and bio-models using Formlabs printers and bio-compatible resins. He explains how 3D printing is helping him provide positive patient outcomes in his treatment of spinal reconstructions and tumours.
• Our Sport Episode, will feature Sports Engineers at Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra discussing how Markforged 3D printed parts will give Australia an edge in the upcoming Paris Olympics.
